Recently, Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau and Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau jointly released the Chinese-English version of the Invest Beijing · Foreign Investment Guide (2024-2025) (“Guide”), detailing the investment environment, key sectors, policy support and other aspects in relation to Beijing.
The Guide covers economic development strategies, key investment sectors and districts in Beijing. The key sectors include electronic information, pharmaceutical and health, intelligent equipment and other high-grade, precision and advanced industries, and financial services, information, technological services, business services, life services and other modern service industries. The Guide also gives an instruction to the planning and development directions of Zhongguancun Science City, Future Science City, Huairou Science City and other major investment districts. Beijing will promote high-level opening-up and high-quality development through building the “Two Zones” and giving full play to the advantages of the policies in pilot free trade zone.
